Martin Vargas holds a MSc. in Mathematical Economics from the Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics IMPA, Brazil. He has worked on mathematical modeling for more than 5 years.

He worked as consultant for the World Bank, United Nations Development Programme UNDP (Bolivia) and Unit of Social and Economic Policies Analysis UDAPE (Bolivia).

Research Areas: Mathematical Modeling, MDG's, Spatial Economics, Computable General Equilibrium Models.
